Liam is a dynamic Project Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. Liam specialises in solar energy projects in a development context, primarily in the Pacific region, where his unique approach blends innovative engineering solutions with thoughtful stakeholder engagement to ensure successful and long lasting project outcomes. Liam joined ITP Renewables in early 2018, after a two year period gaining valuable international experience, including a year with the International Renewable Energy Agency based in Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City, and a year volunteering with a small community group in a rural Nicaraguan village implementing energy access and community development programs. Prior to this, Liam was based in New Zealand developing and implementing bespoke solar energy projects both domestically and across the south Pacific and was part of a key phase of growth and development of the solar energy industry in New Zealand during this time.
Liam has a Bachelor of Building Science (Sustainable Engineering Systems) from the Victoria University of Wellington and a Certificate of Renewable Energy and Climate Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
