Power Systems and Design Team Leader

Liam is a dynamic engineer with over 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. Liam leads the Power Systems and Design teams at ITP with a wealth of experience taking renewable energy plants from inception to operation. Liam joined ITP Renewables in early 2018, after a two year period gaining valuable international experience, including a year with the International Renewable Energy Agency based in Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City, and a year volunteering with a small community group in a rural Nicaraguan village implementing energy access and community development programs. Prior to this, Liam was based in New Zealand developing and implementing bespoke solar energy projects both domestically and across the South Pacific and was part of a key phase of growth and development of the solar energy industry in New Zealand during this time.

Liam has a Bachelor of Building Science (Sustainable Engineering Systems) from the Victoria University of Wellington and a Masters of Electrical Power Engineering at the University of Wollongong.
