Nicholas is a graduate engineer who has recently joined ITP Renewables after graduating at the end of 2018, with a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Engineering with first class Honours from the ANU. His main role at ITP is supporting the engineering team by analysing data using a variety of software tools and drawing conclusions from the results. He has past experience working at AGL Macquarie Bayswater power station, and research experience in experimental PV.
Nicholas is currently involved in a range of projects including a pre-feasibility study for renewable energy in remote Arctic communities and due diligence assessment of a PV proposal for a local organisation. These projects involve running simulations to optimise microgrid design and predict system output, and evaluating the expected financial returns from a given design.
