Funding Approved for Utility Scale Solar and Battery in Ovalau

ITP Renewables conducted a feasibility study for a utility scale solar and battery system for the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), and off the back of this, funding has been approved for the project by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), in a number of firsts for the region. This is the first project for the Fijian Development Bank (FDB) as an Accredited Entity with the GCF, mobilising capital to Fiji and the Pacific. The project will operate with an agricultural facility, and is the first agrivoltaic project in Fiji. It will also be the first utility scale solar and the first privately funded solar project in Fiji.
