ACT Wind Auction
Advisory Panel
ITP was invited to be a Member of the Advisory Panel for the ACT’s 200 MW Large-scale Wind Auction, recommending the wind projects delivering the best value for money to the ACT to the Minister.
To make its recommendation the Advisory Panel reviewed the 18 proposals against criteria for value for money, delivery risks and benefit to the Australian Capital Region. The Panel was supported by technical subpanels that provided independent advice on the economic benefit, community engagement, financial and technical risks of the proposal. The proposals were from projects in NSW, SA, Victoria and Queensland. The successful projects were announced on 6 February 2015 by the ACT Government.
