ADB Central Asia Energy Strategy 2030
ITP was engaged by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as an energy strategy and policy expert for a 2030 Energy Strategy for member countries in the Central Asia Regional Cooperation (CAREC) Program.
The document is an official publication that provides a strategic framework on energy to be implemented from 2020 to 2030 by Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China and Mongolia. The publication is being prepared for endorsement by the CAREC Ministerial Conference in November 2019. Under this engagement, ITP was an expert contributor to selected chapters including the section on market trends and the region’s energy opportunities, challenges and risks and a reviewer of the overall content to contribute to its improvement.
