Hervey Bay Hospital and Fraser Coast Solar Farm

This project saw the installation of 400 kWp of ground-mounted PV at the Fraser Coast Solar Farm and 265 kWp of roof-mounted PV at the Hervey Bay hospital, in northern Queensland. This project was initiated and managed by the Wide Bay Water Corporation, with ABB installing the hospital system and Ingenero installing the Solar Farm system. The work involved:

• review of the technical specifications of the system before the tender documents were launched
• assessment of the tenders and recommendation of installation contractors
• commissioning of the systems before their connection to the grid.
