Solomon Islands PV Feasibility

ITP were engaged by Stantec to conduct a feasibility study into solar PV and battery energy storage options for three buildings in Honiara. We conducted a load assessment and analysis for the existing and new facilities at the Honiara City Council Multipurpose Hall, and Youth Centre.

The analysis identified a number of options for Grid connected as well as off-grid PV systems, that present positive business cases to the project financers, and the ultimate recipient, Honiara City Council (HCC). The report included PV and battery sizing options, lifecycle cost estimates, and recommendations on next steps for implementation.
