The 24kW solar system is mounted on the roof above the UV water treatment equipment. Lithium-ion batteries, six off-grid inverters and a PV inverter are housed in a 20-foot shipping container under the array. Under normal conditions, the system will meet all energy requirements for the site. The system was connected to the local diesel mini-grid in a zero-export configuration in 2019. Services provided included: - design, supply, installation and commissioning of the new renewable energy system - design, supply and commissioning of a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system for remote monitoring - operation and maintenance of the system for 12 months
