Nauru Technical Standards for Electricity and Water

The Nauru Utilities Authority (NUA) operated as a statutory corporation offering key utility services; water, electricity and fuel. ITP Renewables was engaged to established an appropriate regulatory framework for safety standards for the delivery of water and electricity. A key part of the project was to establish appropriate technical standards for the new corporation for the supply of electricity and water. The work included:

• reviewing the existing technical standards applied to the supply of water and electricity in Nauru
• consultation with relevant stakeholders
• recommending appropriate technical standards and training requirements.
