Jacob Buddee

Engineer

Canberra, Australia

Jacob has worked at ITP since 2018. He has detailed experience in the use of mathematical modelling to support renewable projects. He has broad experience across different types of modelling, having worked on power systems modelling, GIS modelling, financial modelling, optimisation modelling and electrification modelling. As a graduate engineer he supports the Engineering Team in a variety of projects. Examples include the development of potential pipeline of renewable energy projects in the Pacific and conducting steady state modelling for grid connected solar farms.

Jacob has a Bachelor of Engineering (Renewable Energy Systems) and Bachelor of Science (Physics) from the Australian National University. His honours thesis examined the effect of EV ‘vehicle to home’ operation on local distribution network loading and how the application of different tariff policies mitigate this effect.
