ITP Renewables supported the IA-CEPA Katalis program developing an Indonesian market entry strategy for an Australian utility-scale battery manufacturer. This business intends to invest in manufacturing and integration of long-duration Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Indonesia. The project leveraged ITP’s expertise in grid-scale batteries, supply chain analysis, electricity markets and stakeholder engagement. The strategy provided the manufacturer with steps to reduce the risk of long-term investment in grid battery manufacturing in Indonesia, and identified opportunities and an approach to local manufacturing and deployment of its products.
