Pacific Renewable Energy Projects

ITP Renewables was engaged in 2017 to develop and deliver a training programme for the Pacific renewable energy / electricity sector to upskill them with the capacities needed to lead future renewable projects and also benefit from the lessons learned from previous projects funded by the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The project required ITP Renewables to prepare course material on renewable energy technologies and integration, smart grids, project planning, logistics planning and case studies, and deliver courses in Fiji, Abu Dhabi and Auckland (to date).

ITP Renewables delivered the project in partnership with Elemental Power and Renewables, for the Masdar Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company. The programme was developed and is being delivered in conjunction with the Engineering and Physics Department of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Environment, University of the South Pacific.
