Review of Solar EPC Risks

At the time there were no utility scale solar farms operating in the country. The assessment included an in-depth review of the EPC market in Australia and the key causes of project delays and cost over runs. The analysis also identified key reasons for experienced EPC providers exiting the Australian market. Major risks relevant to the New Zealand solar EPC industry were identified and a number of risk mitigation steps were recommended.
