Solar Victoria Audit Program

ITP worked with Solar Victoria and Electrical Safety Victoria to develop a compliance checklist, report format and inspection process. There were multiple iterations of the process and checklist over the course of ITP’s involvement. ITP’s experience with inspections allowed for the checklist and process to be tailored to suit the needs of Solar Victoria, the regulator, and the service providers. Using a team of 8 inspectors, ITP organized over 600 inspections sending reports to Solar Victoria, the installer, retailer, and system owner for each site. The results of these inspections were used by Solar Victoria to regulate and educate the installers in the Solar Homes program.
