Hillston Solar Farm
Preliminary design and specification
ITP Development is developing 2 x 4.99MW solar farms in Hillston, NSW. ITP Renewables was engaged by them to provide a preliminary (30%) design package, which would then be used as the foundation for the detailed design process.
As part of this process, ITP prepared a Basis of Design which covers the following:
- Major component selection
- Site and yield assessment
- Physical layout
- Electrical works:
- Preliminary DC design
- Preliminary HV design
- Communications, monitoring and control:
- SCADA site plan
- Identifying the requirements of SCADA systems from DNSPs
- Civil and mechanical works
ITP also completed procurement specifications for long lead time items and a design drawing package for the solar farm.
