Julia McDonald of ITP Renewables is one of the Australian representatives for the Task 17 working group and is leading the team at ITP on this work. The next Task 17 report will be published in Q3 2022.

Australia’s contributions to the task include an assessment of the requirements for PV powered EV charging in central Australia, with a case study focus on the necessary infrastructure for the route between Darwin and Adelaide to support EV users. In addition, the report explores the potential of solar PV charging for powering electric bus fleets and integration of PV electric buses.
