The Samoa Parliament Complex Redevelopment Project (SPCRP) is a joint project between the Governments of Australia (DFAT) and Samoa. The complex includes a new Parliament Building (Maota Fono) and new Legislative Assembly Offices (LAO). ITP has conducted investigations looking into the feasibility of possible renewable energy projects for the SPCRP. Based on the feasibility analysis, PV carport, ground mount and rooftop systems were recommended for the current phase and Energy storage and EV charging options have been proposed for future stages of the redevelopment project. ITP also provided a project plan to guide the future implementation and grid connection of the proposed systems.
