Solar Farm Design, Grid Connection and Commissioning

ITP worked closely with our client to ensure the solar farm was optimally designed to match the electricity demands of the processing facility, which are inherently seasonal. This concept design was then developed into a full detailed design and construction documentation package, including studies relevant for grid connection approval. In addition to design ITP was instrumental in supporting the client through the grid connection process with the distributor Ergon Energy, and navigating specification and procurement of significant items of plant including the inverter station and medium voltage switch gear and protection for the connection point. The construction of the solar farm is well underway, and ITP will lead the commissioning in late 2019.
